UPI Market Share Update – April 2026

PhonePe and Google Pay continued their dominance in India's Unified Payments Interface (UPI) ecosystem during April 2026, together accounting for more than 80% of all UPI transactions. While the market remained highly concentrated among the top players, several smaller apps posted modest gains. Key Highlights PhonePe strengthened its leadership position, increasing its market share from 46.70% in March to 47.07% in April.
